At Penn Cove Shellfish, we offer sustainably farmed oysters, mussels, and clams all year long. Ever since our humble beginnings, it has been our mission to become the premier protein provider of the freshest sustainably farmed shellfish products on the market. Since 1975, our Penn Cove mussel farm continues to operate as the oldest and largest mussel farm in the United States.

We grow and distribute several varieties of shellfish, such as Pacific Oysters, Kumamoto Oysters, manila clams, and Penn Cove Mussels at our farms in Washington, Oregon, and California. In addition to growing our oysters, we distribute responsibly grown oysters from farmers that we’ve established quality relationships with. Your product will always be shipped within 24 hours of being harvested

We provide high quality shellfish that is fresh from the waters and not from the warehouse. When you place an order with our sales team, we will harvest the shellfish from the farm and begin its delivery to you.

High-quality shellfish, raised with care at each step of the process

• For 50 years, we’ve been growing award winning Penn Cove mussels from our mussel farm in Coupeville, Washington. Our Penn Cove Mussels are unique to its firm texture, sweet flavor, and are readily available year round for shellfish lovers to enjoy.

• Our oysters and clams start their journey at our hatchery in Quilcene, Washington, where we cultivate our own broodstock and produce single seed oysters clams and spat. Once our oysters have been harvested, they will be wet stored at our farm to maintain its quality and freshness.
